In our current events quiz on Friday, the $63 million renovation to the Cardinal Stadium was mentioned. I am wondering how it was decided to spend this money. I feel that that money could’ve been used on something more meaningful and beneficial. Besides, The football stadium just got an addition recently where they added a whole new wall of seats. Sixty three million dollars is a lot, and there are different areas of louisville that need those funds, like fixing up smoketown or building more housing in poorer neighborhoods. I have some questions: where did that money come from? Who decided where it went?
