Response to Conglomeration

Disney, Coca-Cola, Amazon - all businesses that are examples of conglomeration. Although conglomeration has benefits, they're all benefits for the business itself. For everyone else, conglomeration has more cons.
In my opinion, the main con of conglomeration is that it puts small businesses out of business, and creates unemployment for a lot of people. When one business starts buying other businesses and expanding, they also start creating new stores. These stores go into new areas, which puts the local stores in that area out of business because the new store is much bigger and "better."
The unemployment problem is that when conglomeration occurs, there are positions that aren't needed anymore after the merging. Those people get fired, and then are obviously unemployed.
I believe that overall conglomeration does more harm for the public and common people, and only benefits those in who are involved with the business.
