Response To Mass Comm Process

These past couple days in class we talked about the mass communications process. Until now, I have never really fully comprehended how long and time consuming that process is. For example when you make a movie, it's not just write the script, film it, and boom. You have to come up with a plot and characters and hire actors and get equipment, etc. Then, even after you film it, you have to get a theater to agree to show it and then wait a long time for it to actually come out in theaters. I also thought about how bold it is to produce mass communication. Creating work to put out to potentially millions of people is very brave. You are opening your personal work up to criticism from the unforgiving public. This in itself could be another step in the mass communication process called "taking the blow."
