Courier Journal & The Kroger Shooting

This past Wednesday, a tragedy occurred in our community. Two people were shot and killed in a Kroger in Kentucky. Having such a big impact on our community, this event was heavily reported on by local news sources. The Courier Journal reported on it along with all of the other newspapers and news channels.
Overall, I feel that the Courier did a good job covering the Kroger shooting story. They covered it thoroughly, and in detail and told the people what they need to know. They included a variety of articles covering different aspects of the event: the victims, the action, the shooter, the outcome, etc. This story was very newsworthy and relevant, so it deserved all of the coverage it got.
The one thing I might say the Courier Journal should have added is an article on what normal people can do about these terrible events happening in our country and community.
