Response to Classmate - Emily

Emily McCurry wrote a post about the demassification of magazines and what really happened during it. Her post discussed how magazines broke into different niche audiences one they demassified. She gave real-world examples and a picture of the different types of magazines there are today.
This got me thinking that there really are very few to no broad magazines left. They all have a specific topic that they cover and that's it. If it's a sports magazine, all there is to read about are sports. If it's a news magazine, all that's in included is news stories.
After reading this post I have noticed that magazines were the form of media that's reaction to losing it's audience was the strongest. Magazines went from an all purpose reading, to very different and strict topics.
